Charlie found a simple leaf on Google images which we could build on and that led us on to thinking about the font we wanted inside the logo.
We found a font called Snow Mask on dafont.com and really liked it for our logo as we only wanted to right the letters KN. We thought it look like flowers and it also could fit into the leaf edges.
Snow Mask..
We then looked on photoshop and edited the leaf with KN inside it and changed the font colour to a dark green. However, the leaf still looked plain and flat, so we went on the blending options on the text and added a shadow behind it which really helped. We then added a gradient overlay on it and faded the leaf from green to a red-ish orange autumn colour which we really liked. We saved it as a PNG so that it has a transparent background and we can add it to our tag lines and presenter green screen.
In conclusion, i've learnt more about photoshop and different styles of fonts. If I could change anything from this process it would be maybe adding more red to the leaf to make it a more autumn colour, however I am happy with the final logo.
Here is the finished logo!
