Digital News Production: KENT LIFE RISK ASSESSMENT

Before we set out to shoot at Kent Life, Vic and I decided to create a risk assessment so we would know what to take with us, how to prevent hazards and what hazards could occur.

We noted down possible bad weather conditions that may happen which could cause equipment to become damaged, and also the risk of us slipping - especially as we are going to a farm which is obviously going to be muddy anyway. As we're going to a farm, we know that theres going to be a variety of animals there - we know some animals pinch and bite, but was unsure if there would be any dangerous ones there, so we decided to make sure we talk to the managers to see which animals we can approach and if theres any we need to be wary of.
We also decided to make sure we wear suitable clothing to we know not to get dirty.

Below is the risk assessment for the day of shooting!
